Rise CKMB and Myoglobin Levels in Non-Cardiac Patients of Ischemic Stroke Presenting to Emergency Department of a Tertiary Care Hospital

Objective: To assess the rise in CKMB and Myoglobin levels associated factors non-cardiac patients of ischemic stroke presenting to Emergency Department a Tertiary Care Hospital.
 Study Design: Cross-sectional study.
 Place Duration Study: Medicine, Pak Emirates Military Hospital (PEMH), Rawalpindi Pakistan, from Dec 2020 May 2021.
 Methodology: A total 150 with diagnosed by consultant physician or medical specialist based on clinical neuro-radiological findings were included this study. Serum myoglobin assessed along other baseline investigations among study participants. In addition, relationship age, gender, severity presence comorbidities was target population.
 Results: Out 200 study, 114(67.0%) males, while 86(43.0%) females. 75(37.5%) had either raised levels, 125(62.5%) both biomarkers within range. On National Institutes Health Stroke Scale, 110(55.0%) mild, 55(22.5%) mild moderately severe, 25(12.5%) 10(5.0%) very severe symptoms. Statistical analysis revealed that increased statistically significant (p-value<0.001) CKMB/Myoglobin Conclusion: Raised found many acute stroke. The these biomarkers.
